GUEST SERVICES SHIFT MANAGER | Circa €35,700 per annum

From the time our guests arrive to the moment they leave, we want them to enjoy every minute of their stay and have a great experience that they’ll always remember…and it all begins here, with you. As one of a team of Shift Managers, reporting to the Senior Shift Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent guest care to approximately 2,500 guests per break. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the Guest Services team ensuring consistent and professional service is delivered.

The Guest Services Shift Manager ensures the smooth running and control of Guest Services, including the Arrivals process on a daily / shift basis. You will be the first point of contact for guest issues as you work to resolve them with a “nip it in the bud” approach. Through effective coaching, training and monitoring you will support the team in maintaining excellent levels of guest care and ensure the teams’ compliance with Company policy and procedures. 

ABOUT YOU

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be sociably confident with the ability to inspire confidence and establish credibility. 

Essential requirements: 

  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
  • Proven guest / customer service skills
  • The ability to effectively deal with difficult people / situations
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel 

Desirable requirements: 

  • Previous supervisory experience preferably within a customer services/hotel reception environment 

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive your contracted hours each period.

As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.
