Project Support Coordinator

The Project Support Coordinator will be a dedicated member of the operations team, adhering to procedures, focused on producing the best quality service, being highly productive and mindful of costs. The Project Coordinator is a key member of the operations team providing support to the contracts manager, project manager and project supervisors. They co-ordinate information flow to/from the client, coordinate documentation and records from site and carry out document control and management. They will also assist in compiling project handover documentation for project closeout.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Interfacing with Contracts Manager, Project Manager and operations team
* Maintain live project schedules and continually update database to track jobs
* Manage and coordinate documentation from site.
* Compile project packs for operations team
* Compile project handover documentation and as-builts
* Prepare internal and external project progress reports
* Support Contract & Project Managers in client payment applications submission and tracking through of certification of payment through to confirmation of final invoicing & retention release
* Tracking of direct labour, material, plant and subcontractors movement activity reports
* Support health & safety departments with relevant information required.
* Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
* Proven experience of working within a project team
* A good understanding of project operations and control.
* Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn various systems.
* Experience on financial tracking software systems.
* Experience working with ArcGIS an advantage
* Complex problem-solving and analytical skills
* High attention to detail.
* Technical knowledge, or basic power networks construction knowledge advantageous.
* Document control and management skills
* Ability to organise and manage multiple tasks, and at time competing priorities.
* Understanding of pricing, cost and profit.
* Basic understanding of contract language.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills, an ability to problem solve and make decisions.
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work within a dynamic team
