SHIFT ELECTRICIANS – PACKAGING
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor and Shift Supervisors you will be responsible for electrical maintenance and repair of equipment within all areas of the plant, while you work to correct Health and Safety standards. You will liaise with production personnel and assist with continuous improvement activities to ensure that all machinery and equipment is working in accordance with manufacturing guidelines.
The successful candidate will be a qualified time served Electrician with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an industrial environment. You will demonstrate the ability to follow electrical drawings for fault diagnosis & isolation of circuits, and have experience of preventative maintenance system. Knowledge of instrumentation and calibration is desirable.
The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role, have strong communication skills and be computer literate.
In addition they must be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, achieve targets and prioritise workload.
The hours of work will be based on 12 ¼ hour shifts, on a day, night and weekend rotating basis.
