MAINTENANCE FITTER – CEMENT
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical maintenance and repair of equipment across all areas of the plant. You will liaise with production personnel and assist with continuous improvement activities. The role also involves carrying out tool changes.
It is essential that the applicant must be a qualified time served fitter and have previous experience of mechanical fitting, repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment within a manufacturing or industrial process.
The successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge of health & safety within the workplace, be able to meet the physical and health requirements of the role and be computer literate.
In addition, they must be able to demonstrate a flexible attitude, have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, achieve targets and priorities workload. Electrical aptitude is desirable.
The hours of work will be based on a weekly rotation shift pattern.
