Job description KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER A fantastic Opportunity has arisen within OCS for a Key Account Manager .We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work on his own initiative and is a team player with strong leadership skills. Key Responsibilities The Key Account Manager will report into the Head of Security and will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a large, prestigious security portfolio. Representing the company in all aspects of service delivery . Key Account Manager will be expected to act in the best interest of the company, the client and our colleagues. · Report into the Head of security and support the management of contracts within the portfolio. · To manage the day-to-day operational requirements of the contracts in line with customer and contractual expectations by leading and managing the various security teams across your client portfolio · To be the initial management contact on all security matters, ensuring service delivery and prompt response to all incidents. · To produce reports on all faults and anomalies and escalate to all relevant parties by way of presentation on a monthly basis to our client leadership team. · Roster planning in conjunction with contracts team rostering department · Performance, attendance, and developmental management of contract team and security personnel. · Ensure all sites are manned within contractual requirements · Comply with service level agreements and key performance indicators. · Identify and escalate risks to the company and client. · Support and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures across the portfolio · Assist the team in devising and managing security and related policies for the client as required · Ensure that the security staff correctly utilise and maintain all site operational logs and other records · Report to the company and client on-site issues relating to security service delivery and achievements · Implement Quality Assurance policies, procedures and checks · Assist with the recruitment of new Security Staff as per contractual needs ·Ensure the Security Staff employed on the account are fully trained and competent in role in line with the agreed training plan · Carry out any other reasonable requests as required by OCS and/or the client Operations · Be a key customer contact for all daily operational Security & Health and Safety related matters across the contract · Report & liaise daily with the contract team to ensure effective communication of all matters pertaining to the delivery of a high standard professional security service. · Ensure appropriate training (derived from both internal & external courses) is delivered to individual staff in accordance with their rank/ responsibilities & identified training & development needs · Ensure compliance with SLA requirements, minimising associated risks to the company and to the customer Be conversant with all life safety systems, and assist in responding to all emergencies promptly as illustrated in the Assignment Instructions. · Provide effective support to the client’s Incident Management representative and undertake incident management responsibilities as defined by the client · Ensure staffing is always at required levels, with regular shift patterns worked by trained and qualified staff · Ensure that all staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and carrying out their required duties effectively. · Ensure that all incidents are managed and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures Staff Management · Ensure all team members carry out their duties in accordance with procedures and policies · Ensure all employees are motivated and trained to the required standard and subject to regular effective performance monitoring · Take full responsibility for the effective & meaningful assessments in respect of his/ her Site Managers, Supervisors & team personnel & alert the Head of Security to both individual issues & trends · Ensure that all staff grievances are dealt with according to company procedures in conjunction with the Head of security · Play a proactive part in the control of staff turnover · Effectively manage and reduce absence Administration · Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of reports and planning to Head of security · Ensure all extra cover is accurately monitored and recorded. · Ensure provision of adequate information for proper personnel administration of employees. · Ensure compliance with legal, company and contractual obligations at all sites, such as GDPR, Health and Safety at Work Act, procedures outlined in the Company Handbook, Standing Instructions, and Assignment Instructions · Provide accurate and timely information for the preparation of weekly and monthly reports as requested by the Head of security and client · Maintain accurate and correct documentation and update as required Personal Criteria · Excellent customer service and able to demonstrate the capability · Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills · Ability to work unsociable hours or as business needs · Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure · Experience of working in a demanding, and sometimes high-pressure situations · Physically able to carry out duties · Advanced PC skills with knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint · Advanced Timegate knowledge and skills · Self-motivated & able to work on own initiative · Team player · Demonstrates leadership qualities · Reliable and trustworthy · Articulate, persuasive & assertive · Flexible with attention to detail · IOSH Managing Safely · QQI Level 6 in Security Management or equivalent is essential.
