Part of our reception team, you will play a pivotal role in the success of this department, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction, whilst operating within the Hotel's guidelines to ensure a great experience for every guest, every time. Your main duties will include, but will not be limited to Ensuring all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently. Corresponding with guests face to face, over the phone and by email. Inputting guest reservations and other data into the hotel Property Management System. Maximising revenue through up selling and the efficient recording of sales. Ensuring familiarity with safe keeping, cash handling, and credit policy of the hotel. To be fully aware of any hotel updates, hotel promotions, corporate promotions or special activities going on in the hotel/area. Liaising closely with all hotel team members to ensure a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have: A minimum of 1 years previous experience as Receptionist.. computer literacy, to include Microsoft packages (word, excel, outlook etc). Excellent attention to detail. Previous experience of working as part of a team. Excellent knowledge of the local area. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in the English language.
