We are seeking a highly motivated, detailed -oriented and experienced QSHE Compliance Officer to join our team to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

 

Role overview:

Reporting to the QSHE Manager this position will assist in delivering the ongoing QSHE & compliance protocols of the Group, across NI, GB and ROI.

This role leans heavily on the Quality element of the role with the ideal candidate holding a keen eye for detail, interest in delivering best practice and a healthy appetite to grow their auditing experience portfolio

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ensure all operations align with QSHE regulations, standards and company policies.

• Conduct regular internal audits, prepare detailed reports and recommend improvements to enhance compliance.

• Organise and deliver employee QSHE induction.

• Identify and evaluate potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

• Assist with the provision of QSHE, security and product safety awareness programs to staff through various campaigns.

• Investigate incidents / accidents / near misses, establish root causes & implement corrective / preventative actions.

• Stay updated on the latest regulations and industry best practices and integrate them into company policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of continual improvement and operational excellence.

• Track and monitor company objectives in line with certifications requirements.

• Drive initiatives to continually improve the ISO Management Systems.

 

The successful candidate should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health or NEBOSH certificate.

• ISO Internal Auditor, or equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

• Experience working with / maintaining / implementing ISO standards (ISO 9001,14001 & 45001).

• In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety, quality, and environmental regulations and standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in using MS Office package, compliance management software and tools.

• Desire to expand their knowledge to other standards.

 

Desirable knowledge and experience:

• Knowledge of BRC Global Standards

• Experience in ISO 28000

• Previous experience in QSHE Management systems and procedures.
